About Us

First Class Education for Vermont consists of teachers, parents, taxpayers and business people.

Our Advisory Board consists of:

Curtis Hier, Chair - is a teacher at Fair Haven Union High School

Wendy Wilton, Co-Chair - served on the Senate Education Committee and is now Rutland City Treasurer.

Kevin Mullin, Treasurer - is a state senator from Rutland Town who has been a leader in the "Affordability" movement.

Charles Cousino - is a recently retired technology education teacher from New Haven.

William Corrow - is a teacher from Williamstown who also serves on the State Board of Education.

Joyce Errecart - is a former Vermont tax commissioner who currently serves as a state representative from Shelburne.

Peg Flory - is a state representative from Pittsford who served last session as the House minority leader.

Bill Godair - is a retired business professor and an expert on human resource management.

Hull Maynard - is a state senator from Shrewsbury who has served on the Senate Education Committee.

Joe Tilden - is a retired teacher who recently served on the Rutland City Board of Aldermen.
